Jane LaFazio
San Diego, California
I am mixed
media artist working in paper and cloth. My background includes degrees
in Graphic Design and Asian Studies, and my work history has been in
graphic design and marketing (and a long time ago, an international
flight attendant). In 1992, I began my fine arts career painting in
watercolor, then morphed into collage and sewing on paper. By 1998, I
was a full-time artist. In 2003 I began working with cloth and creating
art quilts. Now my work is a combination of all that—watercolor, collage
and cloth and combining them all.
